The Community Council’s area stretches from Nant Tyddyn yr Ynn in the north to Bryn Eden in the south and from Cefn Clawdd in the west to Yr Allt Lwyd in the east.
Trawsfynydd currently has a population of 973 (2011 Cencus) with 423 households. The Community Council works hard with environmental work, community development and supporting the local residents with personal and local issues.
The area is serviced by 12 Community Councillors who have a wide range of skills and experiences.

If appropriate, the correspendence will be read at the next meeeting, any comments will be recorded and a reply will be forwarded to the author if required.
The Community Council also discuss small grants available to local groups and organisations and all funding applications have to be submitted in writing enclosing a balance sheet to the Financial Officer by the end of February so as to enable the Council to discuss the applications in the March meeting each year.
